Glebe v Gresham’s
Result:- Win 4-6

The first match of the season was played in the rain on the Norfolk coast against Glebe House. Our hosts had combined players from both the U10 and U11 age groups so the match was played applying the U10 laws.
A squad of 10 Greham’s boys showed great individual determination and impressive early season teamwork to finish on top by a small margin in a hard fought 6-4 win.
Our congratulations to Ernesto who played his first ever match of rugby and performed admirably in all areas.
Stanley B captained the side on the opening fixture and led by example both on and off the pitch with a positive attitude and a hunger for responsibility.
MOTM was a tough one because there were so many impressive performances on the day. For his overall performance and especially his work rate in defence making tackle after tackle, it goes to Alex D, congratulations on a wonderful performance.
Thank you to Glebe for hosting us and for their help and support before and after the match (and for their superb battling play during the match) and to our parents who were great in number and loud of voice in support of the boys.
